Gallatin Manufacturing Expansions: Simpson Strong-Tie and CDF Distributors

Simpson Strong-Tie marked the grand opening of its new 500,250-square-foot manufacturing facility, valued at $125 million, in early 2026. The plant, dedicated to producing anchors, fasteners, and fastening tools, launched with more than 200 employees on board.¹²

Complementing this development, CDF Distributors invested $26 million to expand its operations by relocating its manufacturing headquarters to a former facility site in the area. The expansion is projected to generate 85 new jobs in manufacturing and related roles.³⁴

These initiatives represent key non-road construction efforts surpassing $5 million, focusing on industrial infrastructure. They provide professional opportunities for skilled workers in assembly, quality control, and technical operations within the manufacturing sector.

As these facilities transition to full production, additional hiring is anticipated to support ongoing needs. Local planning bodies continue to evaluate further developments, with Municipal Planning Commission meetings scheduled through February, potentially approving more projects that sustain job creation momentum.⁵
