Recent approvals and groundbreakings underscore progress in several substantial construction efforts across the region. Among them, NRG Stadium has initiated a $5 million renovation to create premium club spaces ahead of major events.1

NRG Stadium Upgrades

The project involves converting 5,900 square feet of former storage space on the east service level into two field-level club areas, designed by Populous Inc. Filed with state regulators around March 1, work aims for completion by May 31. Features include exclusive memberships, premium amenities, and sponsorship elements.1

Silo Springs Redevelopment

At a former grain silo site in west Houston, Moody National Development broke ground on Silo Springs, a 346-unit apartment complex spanning nearly 364,000 square feet. The first phase centers on a six-story parking garage and extensive amenities, with future additions of retail, office space, and a hotel over a 10-year plan. Arch-Con Corporation serves as general contractor.2

Carver High School Rebuild

Aldine ISD held a groundbreaking ceremony on March 9 for the new George Washington Carver High School, a 260,000-square-foot facility across three stories. This marks the first rebuild under the district's 2023 bond program, with construction set to continue through 2028.3

Toll Brothers advanced site work for Evergrove, a master-planned community in Fort Bend County offering homes from the mid-$400,000s to mid-$900,000s, with sales slated for fall.4

These projects signal sustained demand for construction expertise during their active phases. Near-term milestones include NRG's completion in spring and ongoing groundwork for residential and educational facilities, potentially paving the way for further expansions.
