Eastern Florida State College's Cocoa Campus opened its doors for a Dental Assisting Program open house on March 9, from 4 to 7 p.m. Prospective students toured the dental clinic, attended presentations, and met faculty to explore 14-month day and 16-month hybrid pathways to certification.[1]

The college followed with a Medical Assistant Specialist open house on March 11 at the Palm Bay Campus, also from 4 to 7 p.m. Visitors networked with faculty and current students, gaining details on training in clinical skills like phlebotomy, injections, and administrative duties for Fall 2026 enrollment.[2]

Partnership Enhances Support

EFSC and CareerSource Brevard Flagler Volusia marked their collaboration with an open house on March 12 at the Cocoa Campus Building 3, rooms 274 and 283, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The informational event included career center tours, refreshments, and free professional headshots by appointment, targeting students and job seekers to connect education with employment pathways.[3]

CareerSource Brevard Flagler Volusia offers targeted workshops for Titusville-area residents, including Job Search Strategies on March 23 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at 3880 N. Washington Avenue, Suite 214. Sessions cover using platforms like Employ Florida and Indeed, resume keywords, cover letters, and job fair attendance.[4]

These gatherings at nearby campuses and centers help students and aspiring professionals prepare for Brevard County's job market by providing program insights, skill-building, and networking.
